You can hear the voice recording for the diary.
Just as I was thinking about changing jobs, a couple of interesting things happened. I reached out to a senior colleague who works at a foreign company, and we agreed to meet up sometime soon.
Right after that, I got a call from a recruitment agent I know. He told me that the exact same position at Tesla I applied for four years ago is open again. I remember I made it to the final interview but didn’t get the offer back then.
Honestly, a part of me really wants to give it another shot, but I’m worried my English skills have gotten rusty. I haven’t had many chances to use English recently, and I feel like I might be worse than I was four years ago.
Thanks to AI, I don’t even read in English as much as I used to. It made me realize that whether it’s for Tesla or Doctors Without Borders, being fluent in English is absolutely essential for the goals I want to achieve.
So, I’ve decided to seriously restart my English studies. I plan to delegate tasks like writing blog posts and creating podcasts to AI, so I can use that extra time to focus on things like shadowing with South Park episodes.
To be continued.
