You can hear the voice recording for the diary.
Today marked my travel day from Kyushu to Shikoku. A morning walk led to a proactive check of the ferry schedule at the terminal.
This simple action proved crucial, as I discovered a discrepancy that could have disrupted my plans. It was a good reminder of how preliminary checks keep things on track.
My first ferry ride was much smoother than anticipated, which boosted my confidence. This positive experience suggests I might be ready to handle longer sea voyages in the future.
The afternoon presented a logistical challenge: a two-hour train journey with no onboard facilities. This required some planning, so I had to skip a tempting ramen shop.
This test of self-discipline paid off, as I completed the trip without issue. The day concluded perfectly with a sauna at the hotel, an excellent way to unwind and recharge.
To be continued.
