Mixing Instant Noodles: A Family Culinary Experiment

You can hear the voice recording for the diary.

Inspired by Sunshine Ikezaki, my child and I experimented with his unique method of combining “Akai Kitsune” udon and “Midori no Tanuki” soba in a single bowl.

The result was merely average; while the volume was substantial, I honestly failed to perceive the dramatic synergy or fusion of textures promised in the video.

In contrast, our previous experiment mixing all three flavors of “Sapporo Ichiban” offered superior results, creating a complex broth and delightful noodle variety.

Nevertheless, challenging culinary stereotypes is entertaining, so I am eager to proceed with our next experiment using the instant yakisoba I currently have in stock.

Regardless of the outcome, transforming lunch into a “laboratory” for shared discovery is truly the ultimate spice that enriches our weekends.

To be continued.
