You can hear the voice recording for the diary.
Last night, work ran past 8 PM, and I headed home. I decided to have a late dinner with my boss at a Jiro-style ramen shop near the office.
Since it was my first time, I played it safe with my order, but the flavor was disappointingly mild and lacked the expected “punch,” making it a somewhat underwhelming Jiro-style experience.
Although I wasn’t very satisfied, I’m already planning a “revenge” visit to a new shop near my home belonging to a famous chain. It is precisely because of these letdowns that the next treat becomes even more exciting.
Whether it’s language studies or culinary adventures, there are days when things fall short of expectations. However, I want to positively embrace even those moments as vital fuel for my next step.
I will continue my efforts while moving toward the next thing to look forward to. By cherishing this positive cycle, I will keep moving toward my ideal self from tomorrow onward.
To be continued.
