今日、担当の転職エージェントに、今回のテスラへの応募に関する不安を正直に打ち明けてみた。
I had a candid conversation with my recruitment agent today and opened up about my anxieties regarding the application for a position at Tesla.
いつもの彼ではなく彼の同僚が窓口になるとのことで、彼としか転職活動をしたことがなかったので少し戸惑っていたんだ。
My main concern was that his colleague would be handling the process this time. Since he’s the only agent I’ve ever worked with, I was a bit apprehensive.
以前テスラの選考で落ちた時も彼が再挑戦の機会を作ってくれたし、年収交渉でもすごく助けてもらったから、彼を心から信頼している。
I reminded him how much I trust his abilities, especially how he negotiated a second chance for me with Tesla before and also significantly boosted my salary.
その気持ちを伝えると、彼は成功はわたしの誠意が認められたからだと謙遜しつつ、同僚をしっかりサポートすると約束してくれて、すごく安心した。
He humbly said my past success was due to my own sincerity, but more importantly, he promised to fully support his colleague, which really put my mind at ease.
彼の言葉で迷いが晴れた。これからは前だけを見て、自分の強みをしっかりアピールできるよう、準備に集中していこうと思う。
His reassurance cleared all my doubts, and now I feel ready to move forward. My sole focus now is on preparing to articulate my strengths effectively in the interview.
