先週に予定していた全身脱毛、当日に台風が直撃する予報で延期になってしまった。なんという運の良さ、と思いきや、すぐに翌週の予約が取れたのは本当にラッキーだった。
I had to reschedule my full-body hair removal appointment last week because a typhoon was set to hit that day. Luckily, I got a new slot for the following week, which was a huge relief.
これで事前の大変なシェービングが無駄にならなくて済んだけど、それにしてもこの作業は本当に面倒くさい。これがなくなるだけで、どれだけ生活が楽になるんだろうかと考えてしまう。
The good side is that my prep work, especially the shaving, didn’t go to waste. But I have to admit, this whole process is such a hassle. I just think how much easier life would be without this chore.
正直、契約を更新したことを少しだけ後悔したりもした。でも、体をきれいにしたいし、特に腕の毛を早くなくしたいから、とにかく集中して終わらせることに決めた。
Honestly, for a moment I regretted renewing my contract. But I’m focused on the end goal of having smooth skin, especially on my arms, so I just concentrated on getting the job done.
この日のために買った新しいボディシェーバーが、残念ながらあまり効果的じゃなかった。皮肉なことに、今まで使っていた古い髭剃りの方がずっとスムーズに剃れることに気づいた。
The new body shaver I bought specifically for this wasn’t very effective. Ironically, my old electric razor worked much better and gave me a smoother finish, which was a surprise.
最初は2台使いで頑張っていたけど非効率に感じて、古い髭剃り1本に絞ったら驚くほどサクサク進んだ。電池が切れるまでやりきって、かなり広範囲をきれいにできたと思う。早く脱毛完了したい！
I tried using both at first, but it was inefficient. When I switched to just the old razor, it went much faster. I kept going until the battery ran out and covered a good area. I really can’t wait to be done with this.
