今日は子供と週末を満喫するため、大宮の鉄道博物館へ行った。2月以来だから久しぶりではないけど、新鮮な気分だった。天気ももってくれて、良いお出かけ日和になって良かったよ。
I had a great weekend day with my son, starting at the Railway Museum in Omiya. We were just there in February, but it felt like a fun new adventure. The weather held up, which made for a perfect trip.
館内はあまり混んでいなくて快適だった。ただ、子供が楽しみにしていたミニ電車の運転が、抽選でなかなか当たらず少し残念そうだった。でも他の展示は一通り楽しめていたから安心した。
The museum wasn’t too crowded, so we could explore comfortably. The only bummer was the mini-train simulator; my son was really looking forward to it but we only won the lottery once. Still, he had a blast with the other exhibits.
午前中いっぱい遊んだ後は、お昼にラーメンを食べに行った。12時半というピークタイムなのに、お店が大きくなっていたおかげで並ばずに入れたのは、本当にラッキーだったと思う。
Around noon, we went for ramen at a place we like in Saitama-Shintoshin. It was 12:30 PM, but we got seated without waiting. The shop is bigger now and a bit off the main path, so we were lucky to avoid the lunch rush.
子供と一杯のラーメンを分け合ったんだけど、すごく美味しかった。夢中で麺をすする彼の姿を見ていると幸せな気持ちになる。こういう何気ない時間を一緒に過ごせるのは嬉しいな。
We shared a bowl, and it was just as delicious as we remembered. I love these simple moments, watching him enjoy his food so much. Seeing him happy makes me happy, and it’s something I truly cherish.
その後は春日部駅まで足を延ばし、有名な開かずの踏切を見た。次々と通る電車に子供は釘付けだった。まさに鉄道尽くしの一日で、親子で大満喫した最高の週末になった。
After lunch, we took a train to Kasukabe Station to see the famous “unopening” railroad crossing. He was fascinated by the endless line of trains. It was a perfect, train-filled day that we both really enjoyed.
