Supermarket Adventures, Inari Disappointment, and Optimizing Meal Rhythms

You can hear the voice recording for the diary.

I walked to the supermarket, utilizing the commute to practice speaking English, though my high anticipation for the Inari sushi may have inadvertently set me up for a slight disappointment.

While I managed to secure a discounted dessert and the specific soup stock I needed, the messy condition of the sweet treat left me with mixed feelings about the overall shopping experience.

The budget-friendly “imperfect” Inari pack was sold out, forcing me to purchase the pricier standard option; considering the time invested in walking there, the return on effort felt regrettably low.

Recognizing that a heavy lunch often leads to afternoon lethargy, I decided to strategically shift this “reward meal” to the morning to kickstart my productivity instead.

Things don’t always go according to plan, but while I await the ramen shop manager’s recovery and that nostalgic taste, I will focus on optimizing my own daily rhythm.

To be continued.
