BESS Project Inquiries, Low-Value Tasks, and Prioritizing Kaizen

You can hear the voice recording for the diary.

Despite a high volume of inquiries for BESS projects, few are moving forward. Today’s meeting, which I hoped would be a breakthrough, turned out to be merely a request for a budgetary estimate to check business feasibility.

To be honest, these requests rarely materialize into actual deals, but since my boss has already committed us to it, backing out is not an option.

He suggested delegating this to the Estimation Team, but given their history of frequent oversights, I find that doing it myself is actually more efficient than correcting their errors later.

So, I plan to knock this out early next week with minimal fuss, treating it as a quick task to be checked off rather than a major project.

My priority is to clear my plate of these low-probability tasks so I can pivot my energy toward “Kaizen” activities that actually drive long-term value.

To be continued.
