You can hear the voice recording for the diary.
After reading a book on leadership tiers, I realized that top-tier leaders intentionally set aside “do-not-disturb” slots to protect their focus while teaching subordinates the value of time management.
I used to believe being constantly accessible was a virtue, but I now see that failing to set boundaries compromises both my deep work and the team’s overall productivity.
Declaring specific hours for focused work may be challenging when dealing with diverse stakeholders, but I am committed to navigating these interpersonal dynamics through trial and error.
Rather than blindly following the book, I will adapt these proven methods to my own context, internalizing the discipline and resolve required of a truly world-class leader.
By refining how I manage my most precious resource, I will continue to evolve and bridge the gap toward becoming a leader who can thrive on the global stage.
To be continued.
