Regret, Unplanned Ramen, and a Commitment to Self-Discipline

You can hear the voice recording for the diary.

Today’s client meeting turned out to be unproductive; it was merely a session for listening to complaints, and I regret not choosing to decline the invitation.

Afterward, I followed a colleague to a ramen shop on a whim, but I quickly regretted it as the unplanned meal cut into my essential task time and disrupted my focus.

I realized that letting social momentum override my pre-set schedule leads to nothing but self-reproach and a failure to meet my own professional standards.

Moving forward, I am committed to prioritizing my own commitments and will refuse to let spontaneous invitations derail my meticulously planned agenda.

True leadership is built on rigorous self-discipline, and I will use today’s lesson to strictly control my time and honor the promises I make to myself.

To be continued.
