Fulfilling my child’s request for hot ramen despite the intense heat, we sought refuge at a nearby Komeda Coffee to cool down with some shaved ice.
冷房が効きすぎなほど涼しい店内で、子供は迷わずソフトクリーム付きの「ブルーハワイ」を選び、私たちは寒さも忘れて夢中で氷をかき込んだ。
Inside the air-conditioned shop, which was almost too chilly, my child unhesitatingly chose “Blue Hawaii” topped with soft serve, and we both enthusiastically dug in.
食べ終わりに二人で青く染まった舌を見せ合って大笑いした瞬間、こんな何気ない日常こそが何よりの宝物だと心から感じた。
As we stuck out our blue-stained tongues at each other and burst into laughter, I realized that these casual, ordinary moments are truly the greatest treasures of all.
