Ramen Exploration Days: Tokyo Commute, Unexpected Closures, and Culinary Revenge

You can hear the voice recording for the diary.

On my office commute day, the Tsukemen shop I was most looking forward to was unexpectedly closed. With my plans ruined, I had to settle for an extra-large Abura Soba at Tokyo Station.

However, the spicy miso lacked a kick, and the noodles were a bit too soft. Honestly, it didn’t provide my usual 120% satisfaction, but the full stomach at least helped me focus intensely on my afternoon work.

I made a decision based on this experience. From now on, I will define office days as “Ramen Exploration Days” to clearly differentiate them from my remote work days.

I was left feeling a bit unfulfilled this time, but next time, I will absolutely get my revenge by devouring my favorite Tsukemen with added Chashu pork.

To be continued.
