38歳の誕生日を迎え、40歳まで残り2年という節目に立っている今、変化と行動を止めずに進み続けたいと強く思う。
Today was my 38th birthday, which means I’m only two years away from turning 40. This really makes me feel strongly that I don’t want to stop or even slow down my pace of changing and improving my life.
昨年はバケットリストのうち2つを達成できたが、まだ2/100に過ぎず、やりたいことは山ほどある。
Last year, I achieved two goals from my bucket list, but that’s only two out of a hundred! There are still so many things I want to do.
明日からは建設PMとしての新しい仕事が始まり、このポジションこそが将来の海外駐在への第一歩になると確信している。
My new role as a construction manager starts tomorrow, and I’m sure this will be the first step toward working overseas.
数年後の駐在に向けて、まずは国内で着実に実力を積み重ね、確実にチャンスを掴み取りたい。
To secure that opportunity in a few years, I’m going to enhance my skills and gain experience with domestic projects. This way, I’ll be sure to get that chance.
40歳を迎えるときに悔いが残らぬよう、ここからの2年間を人生のラストスパートとして走り抜けていくつもりだ。
I’m going to focus intensely on my upcoming tasks to meet my goals within these next two years so I’ll have no regrets when I reach my 40s.
