エジプトでお世話になった人との会合。
I had drinks with the person I worked with at the Egypt branch of my previous company.
今回の転職の顛末を報告すること、次の仕事への意気込みを伝えるために時間をもらった。
The purpose of the meeting was to share the results of my job change and my enthusiasm for the new role.
彼にはエジプト時代からお世話になっているし、開発事業者に移った後も、電気の勉強を見てもらい、とても尊敬できる先輩である。
He is one of the most reliable people I’ve worked with and has been instrumental in helping me increase my electrical knowledge. I deeply respect him.
転職してここまで成果を上げられたのも、彼のサポートがあったからに他ならない。
His support has been essential for me to achieve my successes over the past few years, particularly through my previous job changes.
彼に今後のプランを話すと、やはり電験を取得してはどうかと提案された。少し前から思っていたけど、もうこれは取得するしか残された道はないのではないかと思う。電験を取得して、電気の知識もつけて海外へ羽ばたく。理想的な道筋が見えてきた。あとは、それをなぞって達成するのみ。
When I shared the outcome of my job change and my upcoming move to the EPC company, he recommended that I pursue the chief electrical engineer qualification. I’ve been thinking about this for a few months, and I feel that there’s no reason not to take the certification. My plan is to gain electrical knowledge through this certification and use it as a stepping stone to work abroad. This approach feels like the ideal path to reach my goals. Now, all I need to do is stay focused on the path to achieve them.
