Resignation, Company Loyalty, and Prioritizing Work Satisfaction

You can hear the voice recording for the diary.

I submitted my resignation to the country head today.

Although this is my third time doing it, I still felt nervous when submitting it. This time, I sent it by email for the first time. I no longer feel any loyalty to this company.

I wasn’t given any negotiation or effort to keep me by the head, who simply explained the steps for my resignation, like paperwork.

I know this relationship isn’t going to lead to good results, and I’m sure that my decision to resign was the right one. It would be a waste of my time to work with people I don’t trust, especially when the work is unenjoyable, even if the money was good.

Whether good or bad, I can’t recall having any meaningful achievements at this company. For me, this company has been the worst in my career history. Even though I missed the chance to earn the most money, I want to prioritize my time and work satisfaction, especially working with reliable people.

To be continued.
