今日は実家でのそば会である。
My parents invited us to enjoy Japanese soba today.
わたしの父が作ったそばをみんなで食べる日で、夕方に行ってきた。その前に、妹夫婦の家に行って、子供用プールにお呼ばれしてきた。
The occasion was a soba party hosted by my father, and we gathered at their house in the evening. Prior to the party, we visited my sister’s house, where our son had the opportunity to play in a children’s pool.
自宅のマンションではプールを設置できないので、招待してくれるのは助かる。外から見ると、ベランダに子供用プールをおいて遊んでいる猛者もいるけれども、わたしにそこまでの気力はない。
Since we can’t set up such pools in our apartment, this invitation was particularly enjoyable for our son. I’ve noticed families in my condominium who have set up pools on their balconies, but I haven’t quite mustered the courage to do the same.
なので、大人しく近くの人の助けを借りるのが一番である。
Seeking help from others seems like the best solution.
毎日、猛暑日が続いているので、非常に助かった。大人も入りたいくらいの暑さにこちらも干上がってしまいそうである。
These days have been marked by scorching heat, making the pool a real delight for our son. In fact, the adults were tempted to join in due to the intense heat.
