You can hear the voice recording for the diary.
I had dinner with a former colleague from my time in Egypt.
Since we both prefer food over alcohol, we decided to meet up at the Tokyo branch of a well-known Taiwanese ramen restaurant, offering something different from the usual gatherings.
It was my first time trying Taiwanese ramen, and I was pleasantly surprised. The spiciness level, thanks to the generous use of chili peppers, was just to my liking. After the noodle feast, we moved to Starbucks, making this rendezvous quite distinct from typical parties.
What stood out the most was our vibrant conversation. We delved into catching up and revisiting our work experiences in Egypt, and it seemed like we could talk endlessly.
Whenever I spend time with my former colleagues from Egypt, I am reminded of how dependable and respectable they all are. It brings me immense joy, and being around them is truly delightful. I’m eager to collaborate with them again in the future.
To be continued.
