道路の拡幅や勾配改良といった想定外のコストが見えてきたが、これは発注者の話や図面だけの「机上検討」では絶対に見抜けなかったリスクだ。

やはり「現場百回」、自分の目で確かめないと分からない真実は多く、安易な判断がプロジェクトの命取りになることを改めて突きつけられた気がする。
This starkly reminded me that there is no substitute for “boots on the ground”; relying solely on data can lead to dangerous blind spots in project planning.
エンジニアとしての「現場力」や勘を鈍らせないためにも、重要な案件には必ず足を運び、リアリティのある判断ができる自分であり続けたい。
To keep my engineering instincts sharp, I am resolved to personally inspect critical sites, ensuring my decisions remain grounded in physical reality rather than theory.
