久しぶりに鉄道模型を楽しもうと小岩まで足を運んだが、今回は節約も兼ねて在来線でのんびり向かった。
I headed to Koiwa today to enjoy some model trains, opting for the local line this time to keep travel costs down.
特急のタイミングが合わず普通列車での移動となったが、その分コストを抑えられたし、何より子供が3時間の滞在で大満足してくれたのが一番だ。
Although the limited express schedule didn’t align, the local train worked out fine, and most importantly, my child was thrilled with our three-hour session.
帰りの時間を考えて早めに切り上げたけれど、次に行く時はお気に入りの自前の車両を持って参戦しようという話で盛り上がった。
We’ve already started planning our next visit, agreeing to bring our own train sets to make the experience even more engaging.
暖かくなってきたし、今度は大好きなつけ麺屋で夕飯を済ませるくらい、ゆっくり滞在するのも悪くない。
Now that the weather is getting warmer, I’m considering staying later next time to grab dinner at our favorite tsukemen spot nearby.
お腹いっぱいで帰りの電車で寝てしまうかもしれないが、そんな一日もまた、いい思い出になるはずだ。
Even if the kids fall asleep on the train ride home after a full day, those moments will surely become precious family memories.
