部署のオフサイト勉強会で野沢温泉へ。初日はあいにくの雨だったけれど、予定通り決行した山菜採りは、みんなで濡れながらも不思議な一体感があって最高に楽しかった。
Our offsite in Nozawa Onsen began with a rain-soaked yet rewarding wild vegetable foraging session, which fostered a genuine sense of camaraderie within the team.
自分たちで採ったばかりの山菜を料理して囲む晩ごはんは、気の置けない仲間との会話も弾んで、普段のオフィスでは味わえない贅沢で特別な時間になった。
Preparing and sharing a meal made from our fresh harvest was a delightful experience, reminding me that good company is the best seasoning for any dinner.
食後は湯巡りへ。野沢温泉名物の外湯はどこも情緒たっぷりで、熱々の源泉に驚きながらも、建物ごとの趣や細かな造りの違いを眺めるのがとても面白かった。
We later ventured into the village to explore the traditional public baths, where I was impressed by the unique architectural details and the invigorating heat of the springs.
全部で13箇所もある公衆浴場のうち、今回は時間の都合で2つしか回れなかったけれど、その独特な雰囲気と活気あふれる街並みにすっかり魅了されてしまった。
Although we only managed to visit two of the thirteen iconic baths, the experience gave me a deep appreciation for the town’s rich history and communal culture.
初めて訪れた野沢温泉の想像以上の楽しさを知ったので、次はぜひ家族を連れて再訪し、今度こそ全浴場制覇を目指してゆっくりと温泉街を満喫したいと思う。
This was my first time in Nozawa Onsen, and it far exceeded my expectations; I’m already planning a return trip to share this charming atmosphere with my family.
