新しく勤める会社との入社前打合せ。
I had a meeting with my new boss before officially starting at the company.
今年は、担当する案件がないこと、わたしが入社確定になった後に営業担当が退職してしまったため、私がその営業担当を引き継ぐことになった。
He informed me that I’ll be taking over the work of an EPC origination member, as there are no projects currently assigned to me, and the previous origination member resigned this month.
正直、建設PMにならないのは残念だけど、案件形成を1から経験できるのはとてもありがたい。
Honestly, I was disappointed that I won’t be a construction manager. However, this new role will allow me to create projects from scratch.
また、現職での開発経験も生きてくるはずなので来年の案件獲得に向けて積極的に動いていきたい。
Since my previous work skills will be useful in this new sales-representative type role, I’m going to approach it proactively.
そして、来年、自分が担当する案件を勝ち取るつもりでこの半年間仕事頑張って仕事したい。新しい仕事にとても楽しみである。
My focus for the rest of this year is to secure new projects so I can eventually manage the ones I acquire. I’m excited to work with him.
