家族で地元の遊園地にリベンジしてきた。
I recently went to the theme park in my hometown with my family.
というのも、妻の誕生日に家族みんなで行ってきたが、風が強くとても寒い日だったので、ほとんど乗り物に乗れず、回数券も余ってしまったので、それを使うために行ってきた。
This trip was actually a bit of a revenge because the last time we visited, on my wife’s birthday, we couldn’t really enjoy it due to the heavy wind and cold weather. As a result, we only rode a few rides and had leftover tickets.
今回は、とても天気が良かったのと、大きなクルマをレンタルできたので、妹家族にも声をかけてみた。そして、あまり時間もかからないので、幼稚園が終わった後にそのまま行ってきた。
This time, the weather was great, and we’d secured a larger rental car, so I invited my sister’s family along. Since the theme park is located near our houses, we went after the kids finished kindergarten.
結果は大成功。平日午後ということで、全く混んでおらず、どの乗り物も乗り放題。追加で回数券を購入し、前回乗れなかった乗り物は全部乗れた。
The idea was great. Since it was a weekend afternoon, it wasn’t crowded at all, and we could get on rides whenever we wanted. We used up our extra tickets and ended up riding every single ride in the park!
子どもたちも喜んでくれて来て正解だった。ディズニーランドのような遠くの遊園地もいいけど、まずは近場から攻めたい。
Both our kid and my sister’s kid were so happy, and it was definitely the right decision to come to the theme park. We know famous theme parks like Tokyo Disneyland are amazing, but we decided we’d save those for later and focus on visiting nearby amusement parks first.
