I signed a contract with the shared office space that I’ll be using this month.
Before finalizing the contract, I checked out my new room and found the size to be acceptable. More than anything, as soon as I stepped in, I was welcomed by the calming scent of wood, which instantly made me feel relaxed.
The rent is 33,000 yen per month. While it’s not exactly cheap, I know I can’t concentrate on my work or side hustles at home. Especially this month, I have some extra time for side projects since I’ll be using up my remaining paid vacation days. I want to take advantage of this opportunity and earn more through my side hustles—so I’m really excited to use this space.
After signing the contract, the rain had stopped, so I walked to my favorite tonkotsu ramen shop. My go-to order there is their signature “fried ramen.”
Since I’m doing one meal a day, I made it count—ordering three portions of noodles, extra vegetables, green onions, and wood ear mushrooms. The ramen and the walk were both satisfying. A new fiscal year has begun, and I’m off to a strong start.
To be continued.
