Working From Home, Cancelled Meetings, and a Quick Escape to the Sauna

You can hear the voice recording for the diary.

I worked from home today because the housekeeping service was scheduled to come.

Originally, I had a meeting during the time they were supposed to be here, so I figured I wouldn’t be able to go to the sauna. Instead, I took a walk during my lunch break. When I got back and checked my email, I found out the meeting had been canceled.

It was a lucky break. I asked the cleaning staff if I needed to stay in the house, and they said it wasn’t necessary. So, of course, there was only one thing to do—I headed straight to the sauna.

Weekday saunas aren’t crowded, and it was super relaxing. Once I change jobs, I probably won’t have many chances to go to the sauna on weekdays. But that’s just part of a regular working life.

If I want to make weekday sauna visits part of my lifestyle again, the answer is simple: I need to reach FIRE. That thought really motivates me. FIRE is my ultimate goal, but for now, I’m focusing on working abroad.

To be continued.
