来月の高松での出張に向け、帰路である東京までのサンライズ寝台特急のチケットを発売開始の10時ちょうどに手配することができた。
For my business trip to Takamatsu next month, I successfully secured a ticket for the Sunrise sleeper express back to Tokyo right at the 10:00 release time.
ただ1つ残念だったのは、最上位のA寝台を確保できたと思ったものの、誤って逆ルートで手配してしまうというミスを犯したことだ。
One regret, however, is that I mistakenly booked the premium Class A compartment for the reverse route, which was an execution error.
それでも、最終的には代替案としてB寝台を確保して要件を満たすことができたため、状況としては許容範囲内に収まっている。
Nevertheless, I managed to secure a Class B berth as an alternative, fulfilling the fundamental requirement and keeping the situation well within acceptable limits.
今回の手配ミスから得た教訓を活かし、次の機会にはより集中力を高めて確実に目標とするA寝台を獲得するつもりだ。
I will leverage the lessons learned from this booking mistake to sharpen my focus and ensure I secure the target Class A compartment at the next opportunity.
結果として寝台列車での移動手段を確保できたので、来月の乗車の際は美味しい食べ物を持ち込み、移動時間を存分に楽しみたい。
Ultimately, I am looking forward to the ride next month and plan to bring some good food to fully enjoy the overnight journey.
