友人の送別会にリモートで参加した。
I attended a remote farewell party for my ex-colleagues.
最近では、F2Fでの飲み会が多くなりリモート飲み会が無くなっていたが、今回はエジプトにいるメンバーが主催だったので、リモート開催となった。
Although we have never drunk virtually since face-to-face drinks are more accepted again these days, the party was held by a member in Egypt. So, we drank remotely.
2019年を最後に泣く泣くエジプトを離れてしまったわたしにとって、エジプトのその後を聞く貴重な機会となった。
Because I had to leave the project in Egypt in 2019 due to the pandemic and the previous company’s relocation, this was a great opportunity to hear about the occurrences that happened after that.
そして、ついに先輩が新しい会社へ異動となる。わたしの次のステップとして、誘ってもらえる日がとても待ち遠しい。
Also, my senior member will move to a different company. I can’t wait to be invited by him as my next career.
いまの気持ちとしては、すぐにでも呼んでほしいくらいであるので、いつ呼ばれてもいいように今のうちに現職でできることを吸収したい。
Honestly speaking, I hope this will happen right now. So, I will be ready to move to and will absorb the knowledge at my current position as much as possible for my next role.
