母の日について、妻と相談した。
My wife and I talked about Mother’s Day this year.
本来は今日がその日であるが、日曜日でどこも混んでいるのであえて止めた。
Originally, today is the day, but we chose not to celebrate it because it’s Sunday and almost all public places are crowded.
その代わりに、都合を確認し5/19に決定した。
We will visit my parents’ house on May 19th instead.
お昼ごはんをテイクアウトして持っていこうと計画したが、行こうとしていたレストランが定休日だと判明。
We had planned to pick up lunchboxes from a restaurant however we found out that the restaurant we wanted to go to is closed on this day.
代替案が浮かばず、明日以降に持ち越しとなった。
We have not come up with an alternative yet.
