近くの公園にさくらを見に行った。
My wife, child, and I went to the park to see the cherry blossoms.
歩いて10分くらいのところに、市内でも有名な公園があるので、そこへいった。
The park is a 10-minute walk and is famous for cherry blossom viewing.
さくらは、もう満開になっていて、平日昼間にも関わらずたくさんの見物客がいた。
Cherry blossoms were in full bloom and there were a lot of people in the park.
売店や屋台も営業しており、ゴザをひいてたくさんの人が食べながら見物していたので、いつもと変わらない雰囲気であった。
There were food stands open and some cherry blossom viewers were eating and sitting on picnic blankets.
売店が営業していると思わなかったので、お金を持ってこなかった。
We didn’t bring any money because we never thought that there would be food stands open.
今年は、まだコロナでムリそうなので、来年は座ってゆっくり見たいと思った。
We will also enjoy cherry blossom viewing next year.
