今日は幼稚園の遠足に参加した。場所はいつもの市立公園で、年長組の今回は3回目にして最後の遠足だった。時間の流れは本当にあっという間だと感じた。
Today, I went on my child’s kindergarten field trip. We went to the usual municipal park, and since my child is in the senior class, this was the third and final one for us. It really feels like time has just flown by so quickly.
最初の遠足にGTRで行ったことをふと思い出して、なんだかとても懐かしい気持ちになった。今となってはずいぶん昔の出来事のように感じるけど、良い思い出だった。
I fondly remember driving there in my GTR for the very first field trip, which now feels like it happened a lifetime ago. Thinking back on it brings such a nostalgic feeling; those were definitely good times and a great memory to hold onto.
最後ということもあって少し忙しかったけれど、なんとか時間を作って参加できてよかった。妻が往復の運転をしてくれたおかげで、わたしは移動中に少し仕事ができた。
Since this was the last one, my schedule was a bit tight, but I’m so glad I managed to make it. My wife kindly did all the driving, which allowed me to get some work done in the car on the way there and back. That was a huge help.
前日の雨が嘘のように当日はきれいに晴れてくれて、本当によかった。自分の子供だけでなく、その友達とも一緒になって一日中走り回って、すっかり童心に返ってしまった。
Thankfully, the weather turned out to be beautiful and sunny, as if yesterday’s rain had never happened. I spent the whole time running around and playing not just with my own child, but with all of their friends as well. I truly felt like a kid again.
大変だったけど、おかげでここ数日の運動不足のストレスもすっかり解消できた。これまで続けてきた運動の成果か、子供たちについていけたのが嬉しかった。これからも運動は続けていきたい。
It was exhausting to be on the move constantly, but it was also a fantastic way to relieve the stress from not being able to exercise much these past few days. I think my regular workout routine really paid off, as I was able to keep up with the kids’ energy. It definitely motivates me to continue staying active.
