今日は息子の幼稚園の遠足で、去年と同じ公園へ行ってきたけれど、一年前とは見違えるような息子の成長ぶりに驚かされた。

去年はわたしのそばを離れなかったのに、今年は友達の輪に入って自分から元気に走り回る姿を見て、親として本当に胸が熱くなった。
It was heartwarming to see him socializing so actively with his peers, a significant departure from last year when he rarely left my side.
おかげで親同士の会話も自然と弾み、子どもたちの成長を共有しながら楽しい時間を過ごせたのは、わたしにとっても大きな収穫だった。
His independence paved the way for natural networking with other parents, allowing us to share insights while enjoying a pleasant afternoon.
子どもたちは一日中テンションが高くて、帰りはみんな電池が切れたようにぐったりしていたけれど、それだけ全力で遊んだ証拠だ。
The children were bursting with energy throughout the day, though they were predictably wiped out by the time the event concluded.
今年はフレックスで何とか乗り切ったけれど、来年は体力温存のためにも最初から有休を取って、心ゆくまで遠足を満喫しようと思う。
Although I utilized flextime to attend this year, I’ve realized that booking a day of annual leave will be necessary next year to fully commit to the occasion.
