This was a work-from-home day, and an idea popped into my head during my lunch break walk.
次回東京に行くときは、新幹線ではなく私鉄の特急で行ってみよう。
Next time I go to the Tokyo office, I’m going to take a private train company’s line instead of the Shinkansen.
移動時間は少しかかるけれど、費用はほぼ半額で済むのが大きい。
Even though it will take longer to get there, the train fare is almost half price.
電車内は作業スペースと割り切れば、時間も無駄にならない。
If I work during the train ride, that extra time will also be productive.
これからはコストを抑えつつ、快適な移動手段を工夫していきたい。
I’m going to try to find the most cost-effective and comfortable way to get to Tokyo.
