午前中は実家に遊びに行ってきた。
I went to my parents’ house with my family today.
自宅にある使わなくなった荷物を置いてくるのが目的。ついでに、いつもどおりに昼飯をみんなで食べた。久しぶりの吉野家でのテイクアウト。ずっと食べたかった唐揚げをチョイス。美味しいけど、やはり吉野家は牛丼が一番。
The main purpose of the visit was to drop off some belongings we no longer use, and we also had lunch together. We picked up bento boxes from Yoshinoya, a beef bowl franchise. I chose the fried chicken I’d been wanting to try. Although it was tasty, I have to say their beef bowl is still the better choice for that restaurant.
午前中は晴れていたのに、午後になると曇ってきて自宅に帰ってきたときには雪が降っていた。
It was sunny in the morning, but by the time we got to my parents’ house it had become cloudy, and it started snowing just as we arrived back home.
これはチャンス。早速、近くのスーパー銭湯へ。サウナで温まった後も雪が続き、降雪の中での外気浴を体験。待ちに待ったタイミングで、今シーズンはもう諦めていたところに出会えたのでとてもラッキー。
That was my chance—once I noticed the snow, I headed straight to my favorite sauna. After warming up in the sauna, I was able to enjoy the open-air bath while it was snowing. I’d been looking forward to this experience all winter and had honestly given up hope of it happening this season. But today, it finally came true, and I felt so lucky.
温まった体の上に積もる冷たい雪。この感じが気持ちいい。おかげで、かなり気分がいい。とても楽しい休日であった。
The sensation of the snow piling up on my warm body was incredibly relaxing. I enjoyed the sauna session thoroughly, and overall, it was a great day.
