昨日の仕事の帰りに、久しぶりにリベシティ新橋オフィスに寄ってきた。というのも、プレゼン勉強会なるオフ会があったからである。
I stopped by the Libe City Shimbashi Office for a while after work to attend a study session on presentations.
正直、オフ会の内容は微妙だった。
However, I wasn’t satisfied with the seminar.
もっとテクニックとかを教えてくれるのかと思っていたら、実際には根本のところで、わたしもそれは知っている。25年も外資系に勤める方が講師ということで、イメージが先行してしまったのが原因だと思う。
Although I expected the coach to share some advanced presentation techniques, he mostly covered the basics—things I already knew. My high expectations came from the fact that the instructor had worked in foreign affairs for over 25 years, but the session didn’t meet them.
ただ、その話をしている中で思ったのが、自宅や会社ではなく、勉強したいことを帰りのリベオフィスでやるということ。
That said, while listening to the lecture, I had an idea: I should use the Libe City Office as a study space instead of working from my company office or home.
職場だとどうしても仕事をやらないといけない雰囲気になってしまうし、かといって家だと集中できない。今日みたいに時間を決めてオフィスにくれば、捗るのではないと思う。今度から実践したい。
At the office, I have to focus on my main job, and at home, I find it difficult to concentrate. But at the Libe City Office, I believe I can focus better on my side hustles and studies. I’m going to put this idea into action starting tomorrow.
