昨日は妻の誕生日。
It was my wife’s birthday yesterday.
会社も幼稚園も休んでファミリーデー。地元の遊園地に家族で行ってきた。風が強くとても寒い日。午前中の少しだけ遊んで、子供が飽きてしまったのでお昼に。
I took the day off from work, and my son also stayed home from kindergarten so we could spend the whole day together as a family. We went to a theme park in my hometown, but it was a cold day due to the wind. We stayed at the park in the morning, but since our son wasn’t enjoying it because of the weather, we decided to leave early and go for lunch.
お昼は、近くのハンバーグレストラン。いつも通りに好きなものを注文。ここはよく来るので、みんな注文するものは決まっている。
As per my wife’s request, we had lunch at a steak restaurant near the theme park. We all ordered our favorite dishes since we often visit this place and each of us has a go-to meal.
そのあとは、子供の希望でUFOキャッチャーをやりにゲームセンターへ。なんと1回10円でできるお菓子のUFOキャッチャーが。
After lunch, we went to an arcade because my son wanted to play the claw machines. We were surprised to find some machines that only cost 10 yen per play and could win snacks.
他のゲームもいくつかやったけど、子供にとってはUFOキャッチャーが一番楽しかったようで、けっこう長い時間遊んでいた。平日ということもあり、ほとんど客はおらず、ずっと貸切で遊べた。こうして、時間を気にせず遊べることがとてもうれしい。こんな時間をもっと増やしたい。
Even though we played a lot of different games, my son enjoyed the 10-yen claw machine the most and spent the most time on it. Since it was a weekday and not crowded, we were able to play without any interruptions. I was really happy to enjoy the games without worrying about time, and I’d love to have more days like this.
