先週末は自宅周辺にも雪が降った。
It snowed last weekend in my hometown.
積雪はしなかったけど、しっかり目の降雪に子供は興奮気味。寒い中、最寄り駅で電車を見てきた。
Even though the snow piled up, the occasional heavy snowfall made my son excited. It was very cold outside, so I went to the station near our apartment to watch the trains.
快晴だった前日と違い、待っている間のホームはとても寒い。途中、電車の中で暖をとったりしながら子供との時間を過ごした。
The weather was completely different from the previous day, which had been sunny. The waiting time on the platform was icy, and while we were waiting, we occasionally hopped into the trains that were waiting to depart to warm up.
あまりの寒さに、お昼はスーパーでラーメンを買って帰った。久しぶりの家ラーメンで、今回は子供といっしょに作った。具材を切って、スープを溶かして、麺を茹でる。大した工程ではないけど、それでも一緒に作ったことに変わりはない。
Despite trying to warm up, we gave up on watching trains after about an hour and decided to pick up ramen for lunch at the supermarket. This was our first time eating ramen at home for a while, and we cooked it together. The cooking process wasn’t difficult—just cutting vegetables, melting the soup, and boiling the noodles—but it was a nice activity for us.
いい思い出作りになった。午後には雪も止んでしまったので、降雪の中でのサウナ後の外気浴体験ができずに残念。今冬は経験しないで終わりそうだ。
Unfortunately, the snow stopped in the afternoon, and I wasn’t able to enjoy the outdoor air bath in the snow after staying in the sauna. I don’t think I’ll be able to experience a snowy air bath this season.
