今日は会社の同僚と今年初の二郎系ラーメンに行ってきた。
I went to my favorite Jiro-style ramen shop at Tokyo Station with my colleagues.
場所は、いつもの東京駅にある豚山。例によって、ランチタイムを外していったので、あまり混んでおらずに入店。
As usual, we visited after the lunch rush, so the shop wasn’t too crowded.
年末に食べて、いつも食べすぎを感じつつも、また食べたいと思わせる味。とくに今日は、ホロホロ肉が食べたかったので、肉が8枚も乗ったラーメンをチョイス。
Even at the end of last year, I remember coming here pretty often. But I love this place, and it feels like the ramen was calling me back. Especially today, I was craving their soft, tender chashu pork, so I decided to order ramen with eight pieces of pork as a topping.
食べる前までは絶対に途中で飽きると思っていたけど、実際に食べてみると、そんなことはなかった。
Before I started eating, I thought I might struggle to finish all the chashu, but I was wrong.
いつも通りの大満足。むしろ、このお店は麺よりも野菜よりもお肉がおいしいので、肉マシがデフォルトになりそう。食べたばかりだけど、また行きたい。
I enjoyed every bite. In fact, the extra pork topping might become my go-to order, since I love the pork even more than the noodles or vegetables here. I already want to go back for another bowl—even though I just ate there today.
