You can hear the voice recording for the diary.
When I was at Omiya Station with my son to watch trains last weekend, we unexpectedly ran into my American friend.
Even though it happened so suddenly, I was surprised at how fluently I was able to speak to her in English.
When I had a phone call with my recruitment consultant recently, my English was terrible, and the conversation didn’t go well. But today, I felt confident and was really happy to realize that my English-speaking skills haven’t declined after all.
By the way, my son was very curious about the conversation I had with my American friend. While we were on the Shinkansen, he kept asking me questions about who she was and what we talked about since he couldn’t understand our conversation.
It would make me so happy if he gradually develops an interest in English.
To be continued.
