変電メーカー企業との転職面接。
I had my first-round job interview with a substation facilities manufacturer.
面接官が２人。複数人が出てくるのは久しぶりである。話をしていて真っ先に感じたのは場違い感。
There were two interviewers this time, and it had been a while since I last had an interview with multiple interviewers. My first impression during the interview was that I might not be the right fit for the company.
どうやら、彼らが求める人物像とは違っていて、形式的に面談をしている感じ。それに、こちらから提出したCVも全く目を通してない感じだった。
It seemed like I wasn’t the ideal candidate for them, and the questions they asked felt more like formalities since they had already invited me to the interview. Additionally, it appeared that they hadn’t even reviewed my resume beforehand.
何社も見てきて感じるのは、CVを事前に見てくれる人とそうでない人が存在する、ということ。そして、前者の方がいい人の場合が多い。
Based on my past job-changing experiences, I’ve noticed there are two types of interviewers: those who read my resume before the interview and those who don’t. Interviewers who take the time to read my resume tend to be more considerate, and I think I’d prefer to work with such people.
今回で言えば、残念な人にあたるので、どうするかは考えたい。年収がいいからといって、飛びつかないようにしたい。
In this interview, neither of the interviewers had the characteristics I look for in colleagues, so I’m reconsidering whether I should pursue this opportunity further. I don’t want to base my decision to change jobs solely on a higher annual income.
