ツインリンクもてぎでの走行会に参加。
I went to Twin Ring Motegi to attend a driving event.
GT-Rでの参加はわたし１人だけだったが、ほかにも初代NSXやポルシェ911、レクサスといった高級車も複数台参加していた。
Although I was the only one driving a GT-R, some of the other attendees brought luxury cars like the NSX, Porsche, and Lexus.
午前中は、部分走行の練習。コースを３つのパートに分けて、それぞれで練習。午後はフリー走行で、合計２時間、みっちりコースを走った。
In the morning, we practiced the course, which was divided into three sections, and in the afternoon, we had a free practice session. In total, we drove for about two hours, which was more than enough time.
わたしは、初めての参加であったけど、GT-Rの性能は健在だった。最高時速230kmまで到達、また、直線ならどのクルマにも追いついてしまう超加速を見せてくれた。さすがはGT-R。マジで極めれば敵なし。この短時間でガソリン86Lも消費したのは伊達ではない。
Even though it was my first time attending a driving lesson event, the performance of my GT-R exceeded my expectations. I hit a top speed of 230 kilometers per hour, and its acceleration was the strongest of all the cars on the track. I was even able to catch up with cars that had overtaken me in the corners. That’s the power of the GT-R—it’s practically unbeatable. Burning through 86 liters of gas felt totally worth it.
にしても、１回目のフリー走行時にリアが流れ始めたときは、クラッシュを覚悟した。GT-Rでなければ、間違いなく壊れていただろう。
By the way, I was mentally prepared for a crash when my rear tires started slipping during the first free practice session. If I had been driving anything other than the GT-R, I probably would have crashed!
