今日は、同僚といっしょにラーメンを食べてきた。
I had lunch with a colleague today.
ランチの前後で打合せが入っていたため、ランチの時間がとれなかった退職予定の方とアシスタントを誘って３人で行ってきた。
Since we both had meetings before and after lunch, we couldn’t eat with our usual group. I invited my colleague and our assistant, so it was just the three of us.
ランチタイムを外してのごはんだったので、普段混んでいる二郎系ラーメンのお店に。結果して並んだものの、そこまでではなかった。
We decided to go to a famous Jiro-style ramen shop, even though it always has a long line. Luckily, the line wasn’t as long as usual.
ここのラーメンがとても食べたかったこと、夜ご飯を食べずにしようとチャーシューを増した。とてもうまいし、量も多くて大満足。退職する方は、もうほとんどリモートワークになってしまうので、あと数回しかいっしょにいられない。
I ordered extra chashu pork because I was craving the ramen and wanted to skip dinner. The ramen was delicious and very satisfying. My colleague, who is leaving the company soon, mentioned that we don’t have many opportunities to go out together anymore since he’ll be working from home most of the time.
そんな彼から”転職に舵を切るなら早い方がいい”、と言われ、わたしも腹を決めた。早速転職エージェントに連絡。今度の金曜日のアポを入れた。
He advised me to start looking for a new job if I want to. I took his advice and contacted my recruitment consultant. We have an appointment this Friday.
