ラーメンの後は、サンライズ出雲号に乗っての小旅行。今年も寝台特急に乗ることができた。
After having ramen, I took the Sunrise Izumo express train. This was my second time riding this overnight train this year.
流れ行く車窓を見ながら思うこと。それは、わたし自身が将来なにがしたいのか、ということ。
As I watched the scenery from the train, I started thinking about my future plans and goals.
GT-Rを持ち続けることが正解なのか。昨日いっしょにラーメンを食べた彼女や職場に誘おうとして断られた彼女をはじめ、わたしのことを信頼してくれている人の見本になれているのか。
I had a lot of questions for myself, such as whether owning a GT-R is the right choice and if I can be a good role model for my friends who I had ramen with yesterday and invited to my company two weeks ago.
考えることが多すぎて、あまり寝台特急を楽しむことができなかった。それでも、ゆっくり考える時間ができたことは大きい。
All these questions kept me up at night and made it hard to enjoy the train ride. But it was also a good opportunity to reflect on my future.
家でただ考えていてはあまり集中できないのはわかりきっているので、こうして時間ができてよかった。
It’s difficult to focus on deep thoughts at home because there are always distractions like my computer. The limited time on the train forced me to concentrate on my thoughts.
