起きてケータイを確認すると、先輩から求人の紹介があった。
I received a job offer from a former colleague when I checked my email.
彼が働く会社の取引先のプロジェクトマネージャー職。しかも、海外でのプロジェクトである。
The proposed position is as a project manager for one of his company’s business partners, and the project is overseas.
正直、前の職場で腐っていたときであれば、詳しい話を聞いてみたかった。
Honestly, if I were still unhappy at my previous company, I would have been eager to hear more about the position.
しかし、今はもう新しい会社に移ってしまっているし、紹介してくれた後輩にも迷惑がかかるので、辞退した。
However, I’ve already moved on to my current company, and I don’t want to cause any trouble for my boss, who introduced me to this role. So, I declined the offer.
もともと、紹介してくれた先輩とまたいっしょに仕事がしたくてここまで上り詰めてきたのにタイミングが悪い。また、次の機会を待って参画できるように準備したい。
My original goal was to improve my skills so that I could work with him again someday, but this invitation just came at the wrong time. I’ll continue to prepare myself for the next opportunity.
