Expanding Horizons: Diversifying Meet-Up Topics at the Liberal Arts City Iwate Office

You can hear the voice recording for the diary.

When I last visited the Liberal Arts City Iwate Office, one of the members suggested that I should organize a meet-up on a different topic, rather than focusing solely on job changes.

She mentioned that there were only a few people who could benefit from a session on job changes, as it isn’t a popular topic in the Tohoku Region yet.

Even though I’m proficient in English and knowledgeable about the stock market, I’m happy to cater to their needs. I plan to finalize a presentation on investing in high-dividend stocks, which I had prepared earlier.

Although the topic should align with my expertise, I failed to understand their specific needs. I will reflect on her feedback honestly and learn from this mistake.

Given my limited opportunities to visit the office, I want to engage with members as much as possible. At the very least, I hope to reconnect with members from the same city as my project site who engaged in conversations with me until the end of the last party.

To be continued.
