翌週は出張のため、また妻と息子を妻の実家に預けてきた。
Due to my upcoming business trip for the entire next week, I once again took my wife and son to my in-laws’ house.
午前中は、月例のPMP勉強会だったので、お昼での移動。途中マックでハンバーガーをテイクアウトしての帰宅となった。
In the morning, I attended the monthly Project Management study session before heading to the house during lunchtime. We stopped by McDonald’s to grab some burgers.
クルマの中で食べようとするも、揺れる車内ではうまく食べさせられないため、途中のサービスエリアに止まって、車内で食べることに。
Initially, we planned to eat the burgers in the car while on the move, but it proved challenging to feed our son that way. Consequently, we decided to pull over at a rest stop along the way and enjoyed our meal in the car.
久しぶりのマックは、みんなおいしく、ちょっとしたお出かけ気分になった。
It was a delightful experience, especially since it had been a while since we last had burgers. It almost felt like a mini one-day trip.
わたしは、もっと食べたいなと１人思った。なので、来週の出張のときにこっそりと食べに行くか、また家族で食べたいなと思う。
Honestly, I found myself craving another burger afterwards. I couldn’t help but wonder if I should sneak away for another McDonald’s visit during my business trip or perhaps invite them to join me again.
