今日は、３時半に目が覚めてしまった。続けて眠れそうになかったので、そのまま起きて副業を実施。
I woke up at 3:30 am, and since I didn’t think I could fall back asleep, I got up and worked on my side hustles.
４時起床の副業はホントに久しぶり。だけれども、前と同じく、とても気持ちがいい。おかげで、ゆっくりブログに時間を割き、１記事投稿して出社してきた。
It was the first time I had gotten up at 4 am to engage in my side hustles for a while; however, I felt as refreshed as I had felt before. I managed to focus on writing and uploaded a new post on my blog before leaving for work.
お昼になって、エジプトでお世話になった先輩から、今晩、わたしの地元への出張ということで、少しだて会って話をすることに。
During my lunch break, I received a message from my senior, who had worked with me in Egypt, informing me that he would be coming to my hometown for his business trip tonight. We planned to meet up tonight.
先輩が飲んでいる居酒屋がわたしのマンションに近かったため、自宅で待っていると、駅に着いてしまったとのこと。先輩の通り、わたしも駅に居ればよかった。そっちのほうがいいかなと考えたが、待たずにマンションに戻ってしまったのが失敗である。せっかくの機会を無駄にしてしまい残念。
Since the restaurant where he intended to spend his evening after work was close to my apartment, I decided to wait for him there. Unfortunately, he arrived at the station, passing through my apartment. I should have been waiting for him at the station, as I initially thought. Although I came up with an idea to wait near the restaurant, it turned out to be a misjudgment. I am very disappointed to have missed seeing him due to this misunderstanding.
