今日は久しぶりに在宅での勤務。
I worked from home today, my first time working remotely in a while.
昨日からのスケジュールの検討をするため、家の机は小さいので、図書館に行ってきた。午前中は誰もおらず、机も広く使えてかなり作業が捗った。
My home desk is too small for considering the schedule I discussed with my country manager. So, I headed to the nearest city library. Luckily, the study hall was empty all morning, providing me with ample space and a quiet environment to focus.
スケジュールやタスクといった、頭の中でぐじゃっとなっているものを整理するには、大きな紙に書くのが一番手っ取り早い。
I realized that confirming or reconsidering tasks, especially those I’ve thought of roughly, is best done by jotting them down on paper before giving them thorough consideration.
しかも、誰もいない図書館という静かな空間で作業ができ、今日はとても集中できた。
The tranquil atmosphere of the library helped me tremendously in concentrating on my tasks today, making it a highly productive day.
今後、この場所で仕事をすることは有益になるはず。覚えておきたい。
I believe working at the library could be advantageous for me in the future, so I’ll certainly keep it in mind.
