今日明日は、現場出張である。
I’m heading out for a business trip today and tomorrow.
朝、自宅を出るときにGoogle Homeで確認した天気では晴れの予報だったのに、いざ現地に着いてみると、雪が降っていた。
Just before leaving, I checked the weather forecast on Google Home, and it predicted a sunny day at my destination. However, to my surprise, it was snowing when I disembarked from the Shinkansen.
幸い、積もってはなかったので、そのまま予定通りに年末の挨拶のために、関係者宅を回ってきた。
Luckily, the snow hadn’t piled up on the roads, allowing me to visit the stakeholders’ houses as planned for the year-end greetings.
雪のせいか、みんな自宅にいて、行くところで確実に挨拶を済ますことができた。天気が悪いのも、こういう時にはいい。
The snowy weather proved beneficial, as all of them were home when I visited. It facilitated the meetings. Sometimes, bad weather works in my favor.
回った後は、仲良くなった先生と、今回もとんかつ屋へ。今日はメンチカツにチャレンジしてみたけど、ここのとんかつ屋で食べるのであれば、ロースかつが一番！超肉厚の肉が食欲をそそる、サイコーの逸品、あぁ、早く食べたい。
After the greetings, I had dinner at a pork cutlet shop with a teacher I get along with. I tried the mince cutlet, which was good, but the regular pork cutlet is much more to my liking when eaten at the shop. The large portion of the pork cutlet always leaves me craving more. I’m looking forward to indulging in it again soon.
