いつもどおり、地元の駅に副業をしに来てみると、駅の電気が消えていた。
I headed to my station to work on my side hustle in the waiting room, but noticed that some of the lights were turned off.
ネットで調べても詳細がわからず、すぐに復旧するだろうと思ったし、入場券も買ってしまったので、そのまま暗い待合室で作業してきた。
I couldn’t find any reason or details about the situation, even after searching online. However, I assumed it would be resolved soon, and since I already had my entry ticket, I decided to proceed with my side hustle in the dimly lit waiting room.
暗いせいもあって、待合室は空いていたのでよかった。
Because of the blackout, the waiting room wasn’t crowded, which turned out to be advantageous for me.
それに、今日はブログの更新もしたかったので、ちょうどよい。ブログの更新は大きな画面でやったほうが圧倒的に効率がいいので、自宅で作業するのがベスト。
I had been meaning to update my blog posts, and I find that working on my blog with a wide monitor at home significantly boosts my productivity.
２時間経ったのち、自宅に帰ってブログの更新をした。今日はとても作業が捗った。今年もそろそろ終わり。副業での収入はほとんど変わらないけど、細々とできるならば、やっている価値が必ず出てくることを信じたい。
After a solid two hours of working on my side hustle at the station, I headed back home. I’m glad I managed to dedicate time to my side hustle today. With the year coming to an end, even though my side hustle income remains relatively small, I’m determined to persist and find success in continuing with it.
