I attended a wrap-up party with the school’s teacher from our session last night. Instead of the Chinese restaurant, we chose a pork cutlet restaurant to celebrate together.

Despite having been there for lunch on the day of our session, I appreciate the restaurant for its delicious and generously portioned dishes. What’s more surprising is that both the owner and his wife are former students of the school where we held the session.

During my Shinkansen journey back, I reviewed the feedback sheets filled out by all the students. The teacher shared these sheets with me during last night’s dinner.

One of the six students mentioned that she was impressed after hearing my thoughts. Though the feedback was straightforward since she is a junior high school student, I’m grateful to have made an impression during the session.

To be continued.
